Occasionally, when I’m working on a project which requires a lot of concentration, I’ll “pull an all-nighter” and work through the night. I seem to be able to concentrate more fully when the rest of the world is sleeping and perhaps it’s a measure of how interesting a project is. If it’s more tempting than the prospect of a cosy bed then it’s probably got something going for it.
As well as being able to complete more work than I would if I were sleeping this has the added benefit of allowing me to appreciate the sunrise. This morning’s was fleeting but impressive. Fortunately, I often have a camera hanging around so was able to finish my night’s work with a swift and very private landscape photo workshop from my apartment balcony.
